Art Swap Exhibition 3.0 — Celebrating Mental Health and Wellness
This June, I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the Art Swap Exhibition 3.0, an inspiring initiative beautifully aligned with the Mental Health and Wellness Month.
The Art Swap is more than just an exhibition — it’s a creative exchange between artists, writers, and performers, organised by the amazing team at Lamma Art Collective. The idea behind Art Swap is simple yet powerful: to bring together creative minds from diverse disciplines to share, inspire, and support one another through the language of art.
The exhibition opened on Saturday, 1st June, and ran till 9th June 2024, at the picturesque Lamma Art Collective, Lamma Island, Hong Kong. The island’s calm energy, paired with the vibrant artworks and performances, created a space where creativity, mindfulness, and community spirit came together beautifully.
I was truly humbled and delighted to have two of my artworks showcased at this event. Each piece I contributed was deeply personal, reflecting my journey of healing, hope, and resilience. Painting has been my constant companion — a form of therapy that allows me to express my inner world and find peace amid life’s challenges.
“Art has the power to heal. When words fall short, colours speak.”
I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a supportive community of artists who uplift and inspire one another. Their encouragement continues to remind me that art is not a solitary pursuit — it’s a shared journey filled with empathy, growth, and connection.
“Finding a passion that nurtures your mind and soul is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.”
This has been my personal experience — painting keeps me grounded, helps me heal, and reminds me of the beauty in small moments of creation.
